A brief observation about quality vs. quantity time...

I have noticed lately that the more time my children and I spend together, the more we like each other. The more time I spend with them, the more they want to be around me. One would think the opposite might be true; that more time spent together would mean an increased desire to spend time apart. This doesn't appear to be true...even with the older ones.

I have also noticed that an increase in quantity of time automatically translates to greater quality of time. Good things happen quite naturally when mom and child have more time to listen, share, cuddle, experience life and laugh together.

I'm too sleepy and lazy to extrapolate further; but a general feeling of gratitude for Summertime, homeschooling and motherhood seems to be washing over me like a lovely ocean breeze.
