Shopping, anyone?

I really love to buy Christmas presents for my husband but I don't often have the opportunity since I do not generally have an income. I could purchase his gift with his money but I think that's an imperfect solution. I've done it and he's always gracious but perhaps he's thinking: "Oh...Look what I bought myself!" I suspect he'd rather save his money.

I have a gift in mind for him this year but no money (other than his) with which to buy it. My Etsy shop has been closed up indefinitely but I'm temporarily reopening in order to list a couple items...hopefully to sell before Christmas. If you're looking for a gift for someone in your life, please take a look and consider doing a little shopping!

I am selling a handful of Rosary tenners and a baby/toddler blanket or two. Listing items is somewhat time consuming so I hope to have more items up in the next couple of days. I will be closing shop before Christmas (or if I sell out!).

The Stella Maris tenner is definitely my favorite because this particular title of Our Lady is so beautiful.

"Stella Maris" (Our Lady, Star of the Sea) Decade Rosary

Hail, Queen of Heaven, the Ocean Star
by Father John Lingard

Hail, Queen of heaven, the ocean star,
Guide of the wanderer here below,
Thrown on life's surge, we claim thy care,
Save us from peril and from woe.

Mother of Christ, O Star of the sea
Pray for the wanderer, pray for me.

O gentle, chaste, and spotless Maid,
We sinners make our prayers through thee;
Remind thy Son that He has paid
The price of our iniquity.

Virgin most pure, O star of the sea,
Pray for the sinner, pray for me.

And while to Him Who reigns above
In Godhead one, in Persons three,
The Source of life, of grace, of love,
Homage we pay on bended knee:

Do thou, bright Queen, O star of the sea,
Pray for thy children, pray for me.
