Entries are now open for the Blossoming Joy Easter Gratitude Giveaway
! (Yes, I know it's still Lent... but I need time to get your winnings delivered in time for your Easter celebrations.) I've got two beautiful "baskets" stuffed with handcrafted beauty to give away and two chances for you to win one of them.
"Rejoice always, pray unceasingly, give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
~1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18
And now for a peek at the prizes...
The Bountiful Joy Basket (Giveaway #1)
Have you seen the work of Sarah Harkins
? I have been following her blog for a while now and am completely captivated by her talent. Please visit her here
to see why
she made the Lamb of God bead and then click here
to see how
she did it. You really must go look... Incredible! Thank you, Sarah!
(I also have to mention here that she just restocked her First Communion Rosary
for girls. It really is beautiful and rich with the color, texture and symbolism of our faith.)
You crafty/sewer types are going to love this next one...
Have I told you lately how much I enjoy the patterns from Dawn Hansen
? I am currently working on a sewing project
using one of her patterns and wish I could buy every last one of them! I also love that she's a homeschooling mama
. I dare you to visit her site and pick just one favorite! I know how hard this is because she invited me to pick the two patterns she would be giving away. I had a tough time with that and ended up landing with this one because of the darling overskirt and sweet pockets (ready for stuffing with treasures). Thank you so much, Dawn for contributing to our celebration of joy!
This find-it busy bag is so sweet and fun... and I aught to know because I bought one for Jellybean for Easter! (When my package arrived, I hid in my room and played with it for 10 minutes before I put it with the other Easter gifts.) You can't see from this picture but that pretty ribbon is attached to a laminated find-it list that fits neatly into a fabric pocket. So perfect for any Christian family!
is the brains and beauty behind HappyMom. Not only is she an inspiration to other moms through her lovely blog
, but she runs her HappyMom shop
to help support her beautiful family.
Hair Flower on a silver-plated bobby pin.
Every girl should have flowers for her hair... and I don't just mean little girls! I love to wear flowers in my hair. I have worn them to church and to the store and to volleyball games. Just give me an excuse to leave the house and I'll find a flower to match! Remember when you were a a little girl and you would make dandelion crowns or tuck some alyssum behind your ear... just because it made you feel pretty? I guess you could say I've found that delight all over again. I haven't decided which color to put in the baskets yet but they will come attached to a silver-plated bobby pin, ready for giving or wearing.
This basket will also include the following:
The Sweet Mercy Basket (Giveaway #2)
Lamb of God Necklace
on a 16" silver-plated steal chain (description above) which is a perfect size for children.
In addition to the necklace, this basket also includes matching Lamb of God earrings
. I have to also add that Sarah's items came packaged so professionally in the prettiest blue boxes that would be a joy to give. (Have you gone to her site
yet to see how she does this? What are you waiting for?!)
And another gorgeous Olabelhe
I have this pattern and will be completing two of these sweet dresses
for my two youngest girls before Easter. Can you just see your girls sitting on the porch on a warm Summer night in this pretty gown? The above photo is Dawn's
, not mine...I promise I'll get my pictures up after mine are done! (Wouldn't you just love to be one of her little girls? :)
The Cuddle Cross
This one is another sweet gift from Heather at HappyMomOnline
. Since this item is not yet for sale in her shop, this picture is from MY camera. My sincerest apologies, Heather... I am only randomly good with a camera! However, I hope that my readers get the idea that this is so soft and perfect to cuddle with... while dreaming of sweet victory in His love!
I cannot give an Easter basket without a hair flower. And here's a challenge for the winner...
Instead of giving it to a beloved little girl in your life (although I know she aught to have a hair flower, God bless her), why not wear it in your own hair this Easter? Hats are rather out of fashion so you probably won't be wearing one of those... why not add a pretty little kick to celebrate the beauty of Easter! And do link a photo. :)
This basket will also include the following:
**Please Note... Even though I'm calling these packages "baskets", the winners will not actually receive their items in a basket (oh, the shipping costs!) but the packaging will still be lovely, nonetheless.
How to Enter:
Entry to US addresses only due to shipping costs. (Sorry, friends! I'll do a lighter giveaway later this year that will be open to all.)
2. Two chances to enter (please leave a separate comment for each):
~ Leave a comment sharing your gratitude in this moment. Don't think too hard... just look quickly and find evidence of God's grace.
~ Spread the word online and let me know how you did it (i.e. blog, facebook, twitter, etc.). I want to spread some joy and also give those who donated to this giveaway the attention they deserve!
Each basket holds approximately $60 worth of handcrafted happy. Thanks again to our generous sponsors who are so excited to bring a smile to some pretty faces this Easter!
Entries close at 11:59pm Friday, April 15th. Winners will be notified and announced on Monday, April 18th. Two winners will be randomly selected using random.org
One person cannot win both baskets. The entries of the first winner will be discarded before the second drawing.
Don't forget to leave some way to contact you should you win if there's no way to contact you via your profile or blog. You may leave me a private email with this information if you wish.
