I've got great prayer coverage from friends and family. A Catholic hospital complete with the Eucharistic Presence. A midwife who advocates for patient rights.
My bag is packed. So is the Chief's. I've got a new book to read. A new-to-me car seat and stroller. Air conditioning.
We find out today if the baby is posterior. It's looking like it. She's also fully engaged so odds of her turning are slim. Last time we had a posterior baby, I ended up with a fractured tailbone. But I'm letting that go, too. I'm just going to think about the child and what it means to me to know her.
I'm making a list of all the intentions to take with me into suffering... and which will rise with me in the victory of life. If you'd like to add your intentions in the comments, I'll be happy to add them. When labor begins, I'll go over them all and then place them all in the arms of Divine Mercy. He will love us all through our trials.
